Job summary

NeuroRehab Allied Health Network is seeking a creative, confident Senior Occupational Therapist focused on paediatrics to deliver person-centred therapy across clinics, homes and the community. Join a team of 150+ allied health professionals making meaningful changes for neurological conditions.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• 3+ years of Occupational Therapy experience.
• Experience within an NDIS framework.
• Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen required.
• Driver's Licence and ability to prescribe assistive technology.
• Understanding neurodivergence and family-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive OT assessments, interventions, education and reports.
• Prescribe and apply for assistive technology.
• Build expertise in home modifications.
• Support clients to achieve meaningful, long-term goals.
• Collaborate with a close-knit multidisciplinary team.
• Mentor and supervise junior clinicians.

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative, confident Occupational Therapist who is passionate about making a meaningful difference for people living with neurological conditions.

You’ll support clients living with conditions including:

• Stroke
• Spinal cord injury
• Traumatic brain injury
• Multiple sclerosis (MS)
• Motor neurone disease (MND)
• Parkinson’s disease (PD)
• Cerebral palsy
• Intellectual disability
• Other neurological conditions

What You’ll Do

You’ll have the opportunity to:

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• 3+years of Occupational Therapy experience
• Experience working within an NDIS framework
• Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
• Driver's Licence
• Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology
• Understanding and awareness of supporting neurodivergence and family centred practice
