Why you’ll enjoy working here

If you’re an Occupational Therapist who wants flexibility in your caseload and the chance to make a real difference in everyday life, this role gives you genuine choice — without compromising on support, learning or career progression.

You’ll join a large, values-driven allied health organisation that works in thesocial model, supporting people with disability in the places that matter most: homes, schools, workplaces and community settings. The focus here is onparticipation, inclusion and practical, real-world outcomes— not just ticking boxes or therapy done in isolation.

Working in this model means helping people build skills and confidence to participate in daily life, engage in their communities and live as independently as possible — not just achieve goals in a clinic room.

Whether you’re passionate aboutpaediatricsor enjoy working across amixed caseload (children and adults), this role can be shaped around your interests, strengths and longer‑term goals.

What you’ll get
  • Full‑time or part‑time options
  • Choice ofpaediatric-only or mixed caseloads
  • Multiple hub and community locations to choose from
  • A local hub base, with travel kept practical and aligned to your location and preferences
  • Community‑based work with flexibility in how your week is structured
  • Competitive salary package($82k–$110k+ incl. super & leave loading, experience dependent)
  • Additional benefits includingvehicle options, laptop and mobile phone
  • Calendar control and flexibility in scheduling
  • Dedicatedclinical, operational and admin support
  • Weekly team connection in your local hub
  • Performance and loyalty bonuses (with options to boost earnings)
  • Professional development budget, wellbeing days and paid parental leave
  • Pet‑friendly hubs, social events and EAP access
The impact you’ll make

In this role, you’ll support children and/or adults to build independence, confidence and participation in everyday life by:

  • Completing functional assessments and delivering goal‑focused OT interventions
  • Working with participants to pursue meaningful NDIS goals and outcomes
  • Supporting self‑care, emotional regulation, sensory processing, mobility and participation
  • Completing assistive technology assessments and recommendations
  • Collaborating closely with families, carers, educators and support networks
  • Working within an interdisciplinary allied health team
  • Building strong, long‑term relationships with participants and their supports
Support, learning & growth

You’ll be well supported, no matter your career stage. Support here isstructured, ongoing and built into the role:

  • Regular supervision with your Team Leader
  • Access to a dedicated Therapy Mentor
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and shared learning across locations
  • Ongoing professional development and career coaching
  • Clear pathways into advanced clinical, mentoring or leadership roles

If you’re transitioning intocommunity or NDIS practice, you’ll be supported to build confidence with goals, outcomes and documentation — without being expected to know everything from day one.

Early‑career OTs are supported to consolidate skills, and experienced OTs are encouraged to deepen expertise or step into leadership over time.

Who this role is ideal for
  • Enjoy community‑based, strengths‑focused OT
  • Want flexibility in caseload, location and scheduling
  • Are interested in paediatrics, mixed caseloads, or transitioning between the two
  • Value collaboration and learning within a large MDT
  • Care about inclusion, participation and practical outcomes
  • Want a long‑term role with growth, variety and stability
What you’ll bring
  • A recognisedOccupational Therapy qualification
  • General AHPRA registration
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • Driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally

Experience in NDIS or disability is welcome, but not essential. Support is available for clinicians building confidence in community practice.

What matters here
  • Champion the person— focus on strengths, not deficits
  • One team with purpose— collaboration over silos
  • Simplify and go— reduce unnecessary complexity so you can focus on what matters
  • Believe in what’s possible— for clients and clinicians alike

You’ll be part of a well‑established national organisation with strong clinical frameworks, shared learning across locations, and a genuine commitment to clinician wellbeing and retention. The result is flexibility, support and work that genuinely makes a difference.
