Job summary

Hanrahan Health, part of the MedHealth group, is seeking Graduate Occupational Therapists to join our multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful impact across the lifespan in diverse settings including clinics, schools, homes, and telehealth.

You will manage caseloads, assess function, develop goals, deliver evidence-based interventions, and support environmental adaptations with assistive technology, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified Occupational Therapist.
• Current full registration with AHPRA or eligible for registration.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and provide therapeutic services in a timely manner.
• Assess clients’ emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical function through observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret findings to formulate client-specific treatment goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Advise on environmental adaptations including home, school, work and residential facilities.
• Recommend assistive technology to promote independence.

Job Description

We want to continue expanding our Bowral team in 2027 and would love to welcome Graduate Occupational Therapists looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact for our clients!

On a daily basis you will be:

• Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
• Assessing clients’ emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
• Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
• Providing therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based
• Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
• Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist client with their functional limitations and to promote independence

About you

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Valid drivers licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle
• Genuine passion for working in the disability sector

Qualifications

• Degree qualified Occupational Therapist
• Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligible for registration
