Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist for the South Coast region, based in Batehaven, NSW. You will work within the Clinical Care & Practice Team, delivering home visits and clinic-based activities with a broad caseload, while maintaining client-centred goals and collaborative care.

Occupational Therapist – what's involved in the role?

This is a Permanent Part-time role that is based in Batehaven, NSW and looks after our clients living in the South Coast Region.

This is a fulfilling role where you'll have the autonomy to structure your day and be provided with a broad and varied caseload.

• This will include client home visits and group activities across a range of settings (in-home rehabilitation or clinic-based).
• Deliver person-centred care in an environment that promotes continuous quality improvement consistent with the values of HammondCare and the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).

As an Occupational Therapist (Part-Time) you'll be a valued member of our growing Clinical Care & Practice Team, working closely with an experienced multi-disciplinary team to provide tailored and individualised services to people within the community. A typical day will involve assessing functional care needs, setting clear care goals, and providing treatment and intervention.

What do you need to apply?

• A tertiary qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration and practical experience, or sound knowledge in a Rehabilitation or Aged Care setting. This can include inpatient/outpatient, community settings, or both.
• You're a strong communicator, and able to plan and manage your time effectively.
• Enjoy working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and safe driving record to travel between client's homes and HammondCare locations (travel costs reimbursed).
