Job summary

MedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Sutherland Shire region, including Caringbah, Cronulla and Lower St George. You will manage a caseload, assess developmental functions, and formulate goals to improve quality of life through evidence-based interventions.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, enjoy flexible hours, and contribute to meaningful clinical support and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Time management & organisational skills to manage varied caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
