Job summary

ORS is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our growing NDIS allied health team in Australia. You will perform a range of assessments supporting adults with diverse diagnoses, in settings from family homes to ORS clinics. You will collaborate with 110+ OT peers and contribute to person-centred care.

The role emphasizes flexible work arrangements, calendar ownership, and potential for reduced hours or part-time work to support a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to register.
• Valid driver’s license.
• National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain them before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SIL assessments for adults in various settings.
• Perform sensory assessments and assessments for assistive technology.
• Coordinate home modifications assessments (including complex cases).
• Assess functional daily living skills and environmental risks.
• Provide skill-building and ongoing therapy to participants.

Due to ORS’ continued growth, the Occupational Therapy team is in need of our next superstar to join the team!

You will get to work alongside 110+ other dedicated Occupational Therapists in our NDIS division performing clinical services to participants predominantly in the Adult age group with various diagnoses and disability types. More importantly you will also get to work with an amazing group of clients, playing an integral part in their personal growth and development.

The types of assessments and interventions that you will complete include:

• Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments
• Sensory Assessments
• Assistive Technology (AT) Assessments
• Home Modifications Assessments (including complex)
• Functional Daily Living Skills Assessments
• Environmental Risk Assessments
• Skill building and ongoing therapy

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or ORS clinics.

A few requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
• Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
• A car and licence
• A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
