Job summary

ORS Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist passionate about transforming lives through person-centred NDIS allied health services. You will join 110+ therapists in our NDIs division, delivering assessments across SIL, sensory, AT, home modifications and daily living skills, in settings from homes to clinics.

You will enjoy a strong work-life balance with options for work-from-home resources, flexible hours, and calendar ownership to fit your schedule while supporting client outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to register.
  • Ability to obtain Police Check & Working with Children clearance if required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct SIL, sensory, AT, home modification and functional daily living assessments.
  • Provide person-centred interventions in diverse environments including family homes and clinics.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support participant goals and NDIs.
  • Contribute to care planning and ongoing therapy strategies.

Job description

If you are a passionate Occupational Therapist who wants to help transform lives through excellence and person-centred NDIS allied health services then you love working at ORS.

Due to ORS’ continued growth, the Occupational Therapy team is in need of our next superstar to join the team!

You will get to work alongside 110+ other dedicated Occupational Therapists in our NDIS division performing clinical services to participants predominantly in the Adult age group with various diagnoses and disability types. More importantly you will also get to work with an amazing group of clients, playing an integral part in their personal growth and development.

The types of assessments and interventions that you will complete include:
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments
  • Sensory Assessments
  • Assistive Technology (AT) Assessments
  • Home Modifications Assessments (including complex)
  • Functional Daily Living Skills Assessments
  • Environmental Risk Assessments
  • Skill building and ongoing therapy

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or ORS clinics.

A Few Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
