Job summary

ORS is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing NDIS allied health team in Western Australia. You will deliver person-centred clinical services to participants, mainly adults, across diverse settings including homes, group homes, day programs, schools and clinics.

You will perform SIL, sensory, AT, home modification, daily living skills and environmental risk assessments, contributing to client growth and independence within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with AHPRA or eligible to register.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
  • WWCC/NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct SIL, sensory, AT, home modifications and daily living skills assessments.
  • Perform environmental risk assessments and provide functional therapy.
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions across client homes, group homes and clinics.

If you are a passionate Occupational Therapist who wants to help transform lives through excellence and person-centred NDIS allied health services then you love working at ORS.

Due to ORS’ continued growth, the Occupational Therapy team is in need of our next superstar to join the team!

You will get to work alongside 110+ other dedicated Occupational Therapists in our NDIS division performing clinical services to participants predominantly in the Adult age group with various diagnoses and disability types. More importantly you will also get to work with an amazing group of clients, playing an integral part in their personal growth and development.

The types of assessments and interventions that you will complete include:
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments
  • Sensory Assessments
  • Assistive Technology (AT) Assessments
  • Home Modifications Assessments (including complex)
  • Functional Daily Living Skills Assessments
  • Environmental Risk Assessments
  • Skill building and ongoing therapy

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or ORS clinics.

A few requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
