All About Kids, a paediatric allied health practice with Springwood, Wooloowin and Strathpine clinics in Queensland, is seeking an independent contractor Occupational Therapist. You will conduct evidence-based assessments, deliver individual and group therapy for children and work with families on home programmes.
The role supports a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and includes flexible scheduling across clinics, with admin handled by an experienced team.
Contract independently. Never practise alone.
For over 20 years, All About Kids has been helping children, teens and families thrive. We're a friendly, multidisciplinary allied health practice with clinics in Springwood, Wooloowin and Strathpine, and we're known for our child-centred, family-focused care.
The children we see rarely have just one need, so our clinicians don't work alone. As an AAK contractor, you'll be part of:
contribute OT expertise to comprehensive assessments alongside our psychologists and other disciplines
easy access to colleagues in other disciplines for case discussions, joint goals and coordinated plans for families
when your client needs input from a psychologist or another therapist, it's a conversation down the hall, not a cold referral
regular OT peer meetings to share ideas, resources and clinical reasoning
opportunities to connect and collaborate with colleagues across Springwood, Wooloowin and Strathpine
% revenue split, paid fortnightly
an established waitlist of NDIS, private and Medicare clients
our experienced admin team manage bookings, client communication and paperwork
choose the days and hours that suit you
a fully equipped therapy gym at Springwood, plus options for home, school and telehealth sessions
develop parent webinars and skill-building sessions, or contribute to the All About Kids resource bank
Evidence-based OT assessments, including functional evaluations and standardised testing
Individual and group therapy across fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care and daily living skills
Practical strategies and home programmes that families can actually use
Clear, timely clinical documentation and reports
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Paediatric experience (well suited to experienced and senior OTs)
Confidence managing your own caseload
An ABN, professional indemnity insurance and a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
A warm, collaborative approach with children, families and colleagues
Bonus: private practice experience, or training in areas such as childcare and school-based intervention
"Administration staff are highly supportive and diligent… so I can focus entirely on clinical intervention and supporting families."
Cameron O'Reilly, Senior Occupational Therapist
"We are also a team of multiple disciplines, which makes All About Kids a great team to be a part of as you are always learning and collaborating with each other."
Chelsea Hockenhull, Mental Health Occupational Therapist
