Job summary

Showtime Consulting in Australia is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join a high-performing technology operations team. This hands-on role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of enterprise platforms and applications.

You will work with observability tools including Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, and the ELK stack to ensure services remain stable.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in Technical Support, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Operations, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace monitoring and performance management.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) for logging and observability.
• Solid understanding of SRE principles including SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, reliability engineering, and incident management.
• Experience configuring monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, and observability platforms.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and service health reporting.
• Support SRE practices including SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, and reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve complex issues.
• Assist with deployment, configuration, and optimisation of monitoring solutions. Participate in on-call support and major incident response activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
