Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions in Brisbane is seeking an experienced O&M Operations Manager to lead the safe, reliable operation of our growing portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and BESS assets across ANZ. You’ll own the O&M strategy, asset performance, maintenance planning and continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal asset availability.

With a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across Australia and New Zealand, our O&M business is entering an exciting new phase. We have established the foundations, systems and processes for our regional O&M operations, and with our first major asset preparing to enter operations, we are now looking for an experienced O&M Operations Manager to lead the next stage of our growth.

Based in our Brisbane office, you’ll take ownership of the operational performance of our growing asset portfolio, ensuring our systems, people and service delivery are ready to support assets through their full operational lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the safe, reliable and efficient operation of utility-scale solar PV and BESS assets across ANZ.
• Take ownership of O&M strategy, asset performance, maintenance planning and continuous improvement.
• Further develop and optimise the O&M systems, processes and operational frameworks already established.
• Lead contractor and service provider performance, ensuring quality, responsiveness and commercial outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience leading O&M operations for utility-scale solar PV and/or BESS assets, ideally across Australia or New Zealand.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy operations, electrical systems, SCADA, CMMS and asset performance monitoring.
• Experience managing contractors, maintenance providers and operational requirements across multiple sites.
• A track record of improving asset availability, reliability and performance through effective planning and data-driven decision making.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, supported by a relevant technical or engineering background and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
