Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a sovereign defence manufacturer to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer for work on Australian Defence Force programs in Adelaide. You will contribute to surveillance, air battlespace management, and air defence systems through design, V&V, and system testing within a mission-critical environment.

The role requires a tertiary engineering qualification and experience across the full SDLC, with a preference for defence project exposure.

Qualifications

• Extensive V&V experience with mission-critical systems.
• Proficient in hardware installation and configuration.
• Experience with electrical systems, including Voice Communications Systems, Radios, or Telephony (VoIP, analog, or digital).
• Experience working on all phases of the System Development Life Cycle.
• Experience working on defence projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct major engineering assignments in collaboration with other project engineers.
• Perform requirement analysis and design and implement engineering solutions to meet regulatory requirements and customer needs.
• Conduct verification and validation (V&V) and prepare verification plans and procedures.
• Conduct and manage system testing activities and manage configuration.
