Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking a Registered Manager for Anita Dorfman House in Stanmore. You will lead the home’s multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care, while ensuring governance, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.

The role requires strategic leadership, staff development, and close collaboration with families and external partners to maintain high-quality services for older people, including those living with dementia and end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• NMC PIN is essential for the role.
• At least two years’ senior management experience.
• Experience managing a large care or nursing home with high standards.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing other managers.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance and regulatory requirements.
• Commercial awareness: budgeting, occupancy, staffing and operational performance.
• Up-to-date knowledge of dementia care, safeguarding and DoLS.
• Commitment to person-centred care and resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational management of the home.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in the quality of care and resident experience.
