Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced Dementia Manager (Registered Nurse) to provide clinical leadership and operational management for our Memory Support Cottage. You will oversee day-to-day supervision, support staff, and ensure evidence-based dementia care, while partnering with families and residents.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of clinical experience with dementia care, current AHPRA registration, and a track record of building cohesive teams within aged care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience with dementia care.
• Awareness of aged care dementia networks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Memory Support Cottage.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision, mentoring, and care practices.
• Act as primary liaison with residents and families for updates and support needs.
• Monitor quality indicators and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, leave management, and performance reviews.
• Manage budget and resources to support care delivery and consumables.
• Ensure environment supports safety and promotes engaging activities.
