Job summary

Bendigo Kangan Institute in Bendigo City Campus is seeking a Diploma of Nursing Teacher to join our Health and Community Centre of Excellence. You will deliver student-centred learning, blending theory with hands-on practice to prepare the next generation of nurses.

The role is part-time (0.6 FTE), with days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and offers competitive remuneration ($84,618 - $115,318) dependent on qualifications, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willing to enrol.
• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Post Grad in Nursing Specialty desirable.
• Experience in nursing education or teaching preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to adapt communication for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver diploma-level nursing education with student-centred learning.
• Utilise blended learning to guide pre-class theory and in-class simulation.
• Demonstrate and assess essential clinical skills.
• Contribute to design and continuous improvement of learning materials and assessments.
• Collaborate with Program Leads and educators to support positive student outcomes.
