Job summary

Estia Health in New South Wales is looking for a caring aged care worker to join our team. You will support residents with daily living, monitor health, and assist with treatments while upholding privacy and dignity in a compassionate home environment.

You’ll work closely with our team to keep residents active, engaged, and comfortable, delivering high-quality care and clear, accurate clinical documentation to ensure residents’ wellbeing and safety.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.
• Time spent working as a caregiver or similar is beneficial.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Respect for residents’ privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities to ensure they feel heard, comfortable and well-fed.
• Support residents with challenging needs in a respectful, person-centred manner.
• Encourage residents to stay active and engaged to promote wellbeing.
• Monitor residents’ health and assist with treatments as directed by care plans.
• Be a supportive friend to residents and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain privacy and dignity of every resident at all times.
