Job summary

Estia Health in Australia is seeking compassionate carers to support residents in our aged care homes. You will assist with daily life, stay attentive to residents’ needs, and work as part of a team to promote wellbeing and safety.

Applicants should have a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, plus experience as a caregiver or similar role. Strong documentation and computer skills are essential. Interviews will be held soon.

Responsibilities

• Lend a hand with daily life - ensure residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed.

• Be a friend to residents and show respect for privacy and dignity.

About the Role

• Lend a hand with daily life - making sure our residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed
• Work with our team to support those with challenging needs
• Help keep our residents' bodies and minds active
• Keep tabs on our residents' health - helping with treatments
• Be a friend to our residents
• Make sure every resident's privacy and dignity is respected

You'll be a true team player and great communicator, with:

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Time spent working as a caregiver or similar
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
