Zusammenfassung

Achieve Australia seeks an Assistant in Nursing to deliver person-centred support to people with a disability, helping clients set goals and participate in daily living and community activities under supervision.

You will perform personal care, medication assistance, documentation, and transport coordination using Achieve Australia vehicles, while upholding safety and the rights of clients in line with NDIS codes of conduct.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Cert III in Disability or Individual Support.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Understanding of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Code of Conduct and Workplace Health and Safety.
• Willingness to transport clients in Achieve Australia vehicles and hold NSW driver’s licence.
• Experience with adults and/or children with complex disability.

Aufgaben

• Provide an enjoyable, respectful, and safe environment for all people we support.
• Provide personal/physical care and support to clients including grooming, toileting, meal preparation and assistance, home support, transport and medication administration.
• Support the use of physical and communication aids and devices and other personal equipment where required.
• Enable clients to participate in interests, hobbies, and relationships in the community.
• Assist clients to access recreational services and transport services including taxis and Achieve Australia vehicles.
• Advocate for and assist clients, families and significant people to engage with the community.
• Complete client documentation including case notes and medical documentation.
