The Transit Lounge Nurse Unit Manager role combines administrative and clinical duties to ensure smooth operation and clinical success of the Transit Lounge.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse-Division 1 with APHRA is essential.
• Relevant management qualification or strong equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead clinical teams and drive quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily scheduling and resource allocation for efficiency and patient flow.
• Develop policies, procedures, and competency frameworks.
• Lead quality activities and manage operational data for continuous improvement.
• Oversee onboarding, education, and ongoing staff development.
• Foster collaboration with wards, ward clerks, NUMs, rehab facilities and pharmacy.
