The Queensland Government's Cairns Hospital Transit Procedure Unit is seeking an experienced nurse leader to provide clinical leadership and delivery of advanced patient-centred care. Responsibilities

• Provide nursing expertise and leadership to help achieve unit specific and organisational goals, key performance indicators and relevant standards.
• Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour.
• Deliver advanced patient-centred nursing care, providing clinical leadership, coordinating complex patient journeys, supporting multidisciplinary team decision-making, and applying evidence-based practice to achieve safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
• Support and assist the Nurse Manager PFU to lead the team, drive change processes and assist in the efficient management of human and material resources.
