Job summary

Sunnybank Private Hospital in Brisbane is seeking a capable Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Rehabilitation team, ensuring high standards of clinical and patient care within budget and regulatory requirements.

You will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team, develop partnerships with Visiting Medical Officers, and drive staff development and HR initiatives while maintaining exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Experience at NUM level or equivalent.
• Experience in the Acute setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong commitment to developing in a management role.
• A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused care.
• Ability to work cohesively within a team environment and develop partnerships with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs).
• Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour management.
• Demonstrated HR management experience; Leadership and management qualification (or working towards).
