Job summary

True North Personnel is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading civil construction contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory. You will lead project delivery from planning through to completion, ensure safety, on-time and within budget, and manage teams, stakeholders and subcontractors while maintaining strong client relationships.

Reporting to the Civil Manager, you will coordinate budgets, schedules and risk management.

Qualifications

• Australian based experience in Project Management within civil construction & infrastructure, ideally within the Northern Territory.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and deliver successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements.
• Construction White Card
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from commencement through to completion.
• Leading project teams, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Managing project budgets, schedules and resource allocation.
• Monitoring project performance and commercial outcomes.
• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements.
• Coordinating project documentation, reporting and contract administration.
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Managing project meetings, progress reporting and client communications.
• Providing leadership, mentoring and support to site-based teams.
