Job summary

Agency for Clinical Innovation NSW – Sydney CBD NSW is recruiting a Project Officer for Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing. Based in St Leonards, you will promote, develop and implement strategic change management initiatives to improve Aboriginal health services across NSW and support integration of care across sectors.

You will work with ACI Clinical Networks, local health districts, Aboriginal Community Controlled sector and other stakeholders to shape programs, frameworks and models of care,

Qualifications

• Must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent through parentage, identification as being Aboriginal and being accepted in the community as such under section 14 (d) of the NSW Anti- discrimination Act (1977), with knowledge and experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice which is strategic and adds value to a project at a statewide level.
• High level community development skills including the ability to manage and support multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote, develop and implement strategic change management initiatives to improve Aboriginal health services across NSW.
• Collaborate with ACI Clinical Networks, local health districts and Aboriginal Community Controlled sector to facilitate the contribution of internal and external stakeholders in the innovation of new programs, frameworks and models of care and clinical guidelines.
