Job summary

NSW Health Education Centre Against Violence (ECAV) seeks an Aboriginal Project Officer to support statewide Aboriginal family wellbeing initiatives. The role, based at Cumberland Hospital, focuses on coordinating projects, delivering education programs and fostering strong community partnerships.

You will work within Western Sydney Local Health District alongside Aboriginal communities and stakeholders to drive culturally safe services and lasting wellbeing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn new record management systems and platforms (Office 365, HPE, Moodle).
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within NSW and hold a current NSW driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project administration, planning activities, meetings, reports and stakeholder communications.
• Provide high-quality secretariat support for advisory groups, networks and community forums.
• Support implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Aboriginal workforce development and community programs.
• Maintain accurate records and project documentation in line with organisational requirements.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders while supporting culturally responsive service delivery.
