Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Melbourne is seeking an NSOC Analyst / Team Lead to oversee 24/7 network and security operations. You will act as shift lead, manage Major Incidents, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvements while ensuring SLA performance and high-quality customer support.

The role combines hands-on NOC/SOC duties with leadership responsibilities, offering career progression and a mix of proactive maintenance and alert response within a dynamic ANZ NSOC environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of NSOC/NOC/SOC experience.
• Australian education or equivalent required.
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
• Foundational networking and security concepts desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as Acting Shift Supervisor on shift and contact NSOC Manager as needed.
• Own Major Incidents: communicate, coordinate, and resolve.
• Lead process improvements and document changes.
• Mentor TSS team and participate in hiring and onboarding.
• Deliver projects and reporting on schedule.
• Monitor infrastructure with network tools and respond to alerts to meet SLAs.
• Manage incident tickets and liaise with IR or other teams as needed.
• Provide high-quality tier 1/2 support during peak times.
• Maintain knowledge base and data integrity across systems.
