Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Melbourne seeks a Senior Technical Support Specialist / Team Leader to manage 24/7 NSOC operations. You will lead shift activities, own major incidents, and mentor staff while driving process improvements to ensure service quality and incident resolution.

The role combines technical support, network monitoring, and security operations with responsibilities across incident response, escalation, and customer engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as Acting Shift Supervisor; lead NSOC staff inquiries on shift.
• Own Major Incidents, coordinate resolution, and drive process improvements.
• Mentor staff, participate in hiring, and oversee project outcomes.
• Document Major Incident reviews and disseminate reports.
• Monitor network infrastructure and respond to alerts to meet SLAs.
• Log, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents; escalate when needed.
• Serve as primary contact for network issues via phone and email.
• Provide tier 1/2 support during high-volume periods.
• Maintain data integrity across NSOC operational databases.
• Monitor SOC tickets in ServiceNow; manage alerts, triage.
• Aim for average 5 alerts per hour or 2 tickets; 30 min TTR.
