Job summary

Thiess is seeking an experienced NPI Project Supervisor to join the Eva Copper Mine Alliance in the Cloncurry region of North West Queensland. You will oversee subcontractors and coordinate safe, efficient Non-Process Infrastructure construction to schedule, specification and quality standards.

With a minimum of five years' supervisory experience in mining or heavy infrastructure, you will drive a strong safety culture, liaise with multiple stakeholders and ensure delivery to high standards,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience within mining, construction or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and safety legislation.
• Proven experience leading subcontractors and diverse teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Effective planning, organization and problem-solving capabilities.
• Current Australian Driver Licence and White Card.
• Experience in client-contractor or alliance delivery environments is advantageous.
• Procurement and supplier engagement experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture across all work activities.
• Coordinate labour, plant, equipment and subcontractors across multiple construction fronts.
• Ensure works meet drawings, specifications, site procedures and quality requirements.
