Job summary

Bechtel is delivering the Eva Copper Process Plant and Non-Process Infrastructure in Cloncurry, QLD. The Area Superintendent - NPI oversees contractor works across remote non-Process infrastructure, ensuring ES&H, quality and schedule compliance while coordinating with direct hire teams and stakeholders.

This FIFO role is 2:1 to Cloncurry, with local applicants encouraged to apply. Requires strong leadership, safety discipline, and engineering document interpretation to support project execution.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Proven leadership in supervising craft/field teams.
• Knowledge of safety programs, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs craft activities and supervises senior staff on site.
• Plans workforce and coordinates area operational plans.
• Oversees tool usage and field material requisitions.
• Ensures compliance with ES&H, specs, schedules and budgets.
