Job summary

Petbarn is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead our Northwest Sydney stores, overseeing up to 13 stores in the region. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, team leadership, and driving sales, margin and customer satisfaction across a busy high-volume retail network.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of multi-site retail leadership experience, a track record of achieving financial targets, and a passion for building a positive team culture that puts customers first.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of multi-site retail area management experience.
• Experience leading up to 14 high-volume stores.
• Proven ability to achieve budgeted sales, margins and EBIT targets.
• Excellent leadership and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the area group to ensure service excellence and policy compliance.
• Lead, coach and develop store management teams to maximize performance.
• Monitor sales, inventory, operational metrics and customer satisfaction to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with central team to plan and execute regional initiatives.
• Foster a positive, customer-centric culture across the region.
