Job summary

50 Degrees North, a Nordic-focused travel specialist, is seeking a Destination Specialist to drive sales and enhance client satisfaction in APAC. You will interact with clients and travel agents, design customised itineraries, prepare quotes, and hand over bookings to assistants for processing.

You will liaise with hotels and suppliers, maintain CRM records, and contribute to team growth through training and collaboration. 3+ years in travel sales and Nordic knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales, travel and tourism is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a travel industry role, with personal or professional travel experience in key Nordic destinations.
• Proven sales experience in the travel industry, with a track record of responding to complex client requests and delivering excellent customer service.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office products and comfortable with learning new technologies and applications.
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with travel agents and clients to understand preferences and budgets, designing tailor-made itineraries reflecting their travel aspirations.
• Prepare detailed and competitive quotes and manage bookings with Destination Assistants and Sales Administrators.
• Maintain accurate booking records in the CRM system and liaise with hotels and suppliers as required.
• Aim to meet sales targets by actively engaging with clients and agents and providing timely travel advice and updates.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve travel packages and client experiences.
