Elysium Noosa Resort is seeking a Sous Chef for our Cibaria Noosa kitchen on Hastings Street. The role is hands-on, located in Noosa and involves preparation, cooking and presentation to established standards in a high-volume setting.

Formación

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant commercial cooking experience.
• Proven experience as Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Sound knowledge of food safety standards and safe handling practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and time-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef and delegate duties.
• Assist with menu preparation and ensure supplies for service.
• Coordinate with Restaurant team on menu items and changes.
• Maintain presentation standards and cost control for outlets.
• Ensure stock rotation and monthly stocktakes; manage waste.
• Lead apprentices, cooks and stewarding team and ensure hygiene.
