Carey Bay Preschool is seeking an experienced Nominated Supervisor to oversee daily operations, regulatory compliance and budgeting within a supportive preschool setting.
You will lead the team, work with the management committee, and partner with families and local schools to deliver a high-quality, inclusive program while ensuring safety and compliance.
As the Nominated Supervisor, you will hold overall legal and regulatory responsibility for the day to day operations of the preschool. Balancing leadership with operational management you will foster a positive team culture, ensure total regulatory compliance and work hand in hand with our management committee and other Nominated Supervisor.
Act as the legal Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Quality Framework
Attend monthly meetings and present operational reports
Work closely with the Educational Leader to ensure a high quality, inclusive educational program is delivered daily
Manage day to day budgets, enrolment software and lead continuous quality improvements through the service's Self Assessment and Quality Improvement Plan
Maintain trusted partnerships with families, local schools and community stakeholders
Approved Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Current NESA teacher accreditation
Proven experience in a leadership role
Thorough working knowledge of the NQF, NQS and NSW Child Protection legislation
Current First Aid and Child Protection certificates
Valid NSW Working with Children Check
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to child safety
Child Safety certification
