Job summary

Visy Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor (Night Shift) in Spotswood to lead a highly automated warehouse. You will oversee the night team, drive inventory accuracy, and ensure safe, efficient operations in a modern facility.

You will manage warehouse operators and transport activities, monitor automated systems, and support AGVs and E80 technology while maintaining DIFOT and safety targets. This role offers growth within a stable, large privately owned group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse operations within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong inventory management and stock control experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing frontline teams.
• Understanding of automated warehouse environments.
• Exposure to AGVs, warehouse automation or robotics highly desirable.
• Strong safety and operational compliance knowledge.
• Experience with WMS, SAP or similar systems.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse and transport operations across the night shift.
• Manage warehouse operators, forklift drivers and transport activities.
• Drive inventory control, accuracy and stock management processes.
• Monitor and optimise automated warehouse systems.
• Support operation and performance of AGVs and E80 technology.
• Ensure DIFOT, safety and productivity targets are achieved.
• Lead shift planning, team performance and workforce engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
