Job summary

Visy Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor (Day Shift) at our Spotswood automated facility to lead a fast-paced transport and warehouse operation. You will drive safety, service and KPI performance in a just-in-time distribution environment.

• Hands-on leader in high-volume transport and warehousing.

Operations Supervisor (Day Shift)

Join Visy Logistics as an Operations Supervisor and lead a fast-paced transport and warehouse operation supporting one of Australia's most recognised manufacturing supply chains. Based at our automated Spotswood facility, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service, safety, and operational performance across a just-in-time distribution environment.

Role Details

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee daily transport and warehouse activities, ensuring customer requirements, safety standards and operational KPIs are achieved. This role is ideally suited to a hands-on leader who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and enjoys leading frontline teams.

What You’ll Do

• Experience leading transport and warehouse operations
• Strong knowledge of JIT supply chain environments
• Experience supporting high-volume FMCG customers such as CUB or similar
• Demonstrated people leadership capability
• Strong understanding of safety, fatigue and compliance requirements
• Ability to make decisions and manage competing priorities
• Exposure to warehouse automation and AGVs will be highly regarded
• Experience with WMS, TMS or similar systems
