Job summary
Opal HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Killarney Vale Care Community on a fixed-term maternity leave contract, primarily for night shifts from October 2026 to February 2027. You will provide compassionate, person-centred clinical leadership and collaborate with care teams, families and other health professionals.
You will administer medications, complete assessments, care planning, documentation and mentor junior staff while delivering safe, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and current practising certificate.
- Experience in aged care or clinical leadership preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective and person-centred clinical care.
- Complete resident assessments, care planning and clinical documentation.
- Administer medications and monitor resident health outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, residents and families.
- Support and mentor care team members to deliver exceptional care.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives.
