Job summary

Arcare Warriewood is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, health monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with nurses and the care team. Australian Working Rights and an NDIS Worker Screening Check are required; night shifts 2–3 days a week; above award rates.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers.
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintaining accurate documentation.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team.
