Job summary

The Smith's Snackfood Company, part of PepsiCo, invites applications for a Manufacturing Frontline Manager on the Night Shift (22:30–06:30) in the Potato & Multipack Palletising Department. You will lead 35 frontline operators and manage office duties from the production area.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years' leadership in food manufacturing, strong people leadership, HACCP/GMP knowledge and a proven track record in continuous improvement to drive safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' leadership experience within a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-pressure operational settings.
• Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management and building engaged, high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, Engineering and Quality.
• Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Management, coaching and development of all processing and packaging personnel within the Potato & Multipack Palletising department, fostering trust, cooperative, positive and efficient work practices within your team.
• Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety and welfare of your team and the wider PepsiCo employee base.
• Management of annual operating plan objectives: output (true & net efficiency), cost, quality, service, safety, people and environment
• Lead the development and implementation of site performance and continuous improvement plans, driving the culture of continuous improvement within your team.
• Effective management of all inventory under your control (indirect and direct materials)
• Undertake all duties in accordance with company environmental policies and procedures, adhering to environmental management compliance and corporate requirements.
