The Smith's Snackfood Company, part of PepsiCo, is seeking a seasoned site leader to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment in Australia. You will coach and develop processing and packaging teams, ensure safety, quality and efficiency, and lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company policies.

Key focus areas include achieving output targets, controlling costs, and collaborating with Engineering and Quality to sustain a high-performing site.

Formación

• Leadership experience in food manufacturing or production.
• Proven ability to coach, manage performance and build teams.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration across Operations, Engineering and Quality.
• Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP and continuous improvement principles.

• Drive annual operating plan outcomes: output, cost, quality, service, safety.
• Lead site performance and continuous improvement plans.
• Oversee all inventory under your control and ensure environmental compliance.
• Uphold PepsiCo environmental policies and corporate requirements.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Management, coaching and development of all processing and packaging personnel within the Potato & Multipack Palletising department, fostering trust, cooperative, positive and efficient work practices within your team.
• Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety and welfare of your team and the wider PepsiCo employee base.
• Management of annual operating plan objectives: output (true & net efficiency), cost, quality, service, safety, people and environment
• Lead the development and implementation of site performance and continuous improvement plans, driving the culture of continuous improvement within your team.
• Effective management of all inventory under your control (indirect and direct materials)
• Undertake all duties in accordance with company environmental policies and procedures, adhering to environmental management compliance and corporate requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll bring a passion for leading people, driving operational excellence and creating a safe, high-performing team environment.

• Minimum 5 years' leadership experience within a food manufacturing or production environment.
• A proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-pressure operational settings.
• Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management and building engaged, high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, Engineering and Quality.
• A solid understanding of HACCP, GMP and continuous improvement principles.
