Job summary

Amcor is seeking a qualified Flexographic Printer to join our Acacia Ridge, QLD team on the night shift from 22:00 to 6:00, Sunday to Thursday, with a 30% shift loading. The role requires a Printing trade qualification and strong quality orientation.

You will operate flexographic presses, ensure safety and efficiency, meet production standards, perform quality checks and contribute to continuous improvement. Australian work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in printing (Certificate 111) or equivalent.
• Proficient in color matching techniques and densitometer operations.
• Ability to safely operate printing press and related equipment.
• Strong colour aptitude and keen attention to detail.
• Team player with troubleshooting capability under pressure.
• Background in quality, safety and GMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate print presses safely and efficiently, maximise speed and quality.
• Meet or exceed production standards for output and setup.
• Communicate issues across shifts and teams.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Print/trouble shoot and related tasks; assist printing trade duties when required.
• Ink technician tasks as needed.
• Mount printing plates on printing equipment when required.
