Job summary

Amcor Flexibles (Australia) Pty Ltd invites applications for a Flexographic Printer at our Moorabbin manufacturing site in Victoria. The role covers operating 6, 8 and 10 colour web printing presses, with a Night B shift of 3 x 12 hour nights per week.

You will be responsible for running presses safely, maintaining quality, and supporting a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have a printing trade qualification or equivalent, strong colour aptitude, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate the printing press and other plant and equipment after training.
• Strong Colour aptitude and eye for detail.
• A printing trade qualification or equivalent.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• A forklift license is an advantage, however not essential.
• A strong quality background and ability to perform quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate print presses safely and efficiently to maximise speed and quality while minimising downtime.
• Lead Printers Assistants to meet production standards for output and setup allowance.
• Communicate issues within and between shifts.
• Engage in and promote Continuous Improvement.
• Offer advice and assistance to other printers as required.

About the role

Reporting to the Print Supervisor, an opportunity has become available for a Flexographic Printer to join the team at our Moorabbin manufacturing plant. You will be required to operate all existing 6, 8 and 10 colour web Printing Presses. The position available is Night B shift working 3 x 12 hour nights a week.

• Operating print presses safely and efficiently - maximising speed and quality whilst minimising downtime
• Leading Printers Assistants to ensure they meet or exceed production standards for output and setup allowance
