Job summary

Spicers Australia is currently seeking a Flexo / Offset Print Operator for an afternoon shift at our Dingley site, specialising in food packaging. The role runs 2.30pm–11pm, 40 hours per week, with a base hourly rate of 35.82 AUD plus a 20% shift allowance.

This is a full-time permanent position under the site EBA with onsite parking and strong work-life balance. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will set up and run printing equipment, ensure quality products for dispatch, and troubleshoot

Qualifications

• Print machine operation experience is essential.
• Experience in the print industry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and repair is required.
• Right to Work in Australia is essential.

Flexo / Offset Print Operator - Afternoon Shift

Spicers is a national Company with offices and warehouses in every state and territory in Australia.We are a leading provider of products and services to the print, design and advertising industries. Our range is targeted to various print segments and includes fine paper, Visual Communication materials, synthetics, self-adhesives, packaging grades and a number of other substrates.

About this Position

We currently have a vacancy for a Flexo / Offset Print Operator at our Dingley site, which specialises in Food Packaging.

The role is an afternoon shift role, working from 2.30pm-11pm, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate for this position is $35.82. A 20% shift allowance is also payable. All other conditions are in accordance with the site Enterprise Agreement.

Reporting to the Team Leader the main duties will include:

• Production of a quality product conforming to current quality control standards;
• Pack finished product to specified standards ready for despatch;
• Set up machine according to job specifications;
• Identify and resolve machinal or product issues;

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Prior print machine, or similar machine, operation experience is essential;
• Prior experience in the print industry would be highly desirable;
• Demonstrable knowledge of machine maintenance and repair;
• Right to Work in Australia (essential).
