Job summary

Findstaff is seeking reliable Flexographic Assistant/Slitter Rewinder Operators and Printer Assistants for Pemulwuy, NSW. Immediate start available on a permanent night shift roster Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm to 6:00am, with initial training on day shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
• Background in printing, packaging, converting advantageous.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn and good mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist operation of flexographic printing and slitter rewinder machinery.
• Set up machines and perform changeovers.
• Monitor production runs and quality standards.
• Prepare materials and load machinery.
• Complete production paperwork and records.
• Identify and report machine or quality issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Are you looking to build a long-term career in the printing and packaging industry? We are seeking reliable and motivated Flexographic Assistant/Slitter Rewinder Operator and a Printer Assistant to join a growing manufacturing team based in Pemulwuy.

Previous flexographic printing or slitter rewinder experience is highly regarded; however, full training will be provided on day shift for candidates with the right attitude, manufacturing background, and willingness to learn.

About the Role

• Assisting with the operation of flexographic printing and slitter rewinder machinery
• Machine setup and changeovers
• Monitoring production runs and quality standards
• Preparing materials and loading machinery
• Completing production paperwork and records
• Identifying and reporting machine or quality issues
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment

About You

• Previous manufacturing or production experience would be ideal
• Experience in printing, packaging, converting or related industries (advantageous)
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
• Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• A strong work ethic and reliability
• The ability to work permanent night shift
• The ability to work well within a team environment
• A strong focus on workplace safety
