Job summary

Job description

Our hotels never sleep. So, we’re currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Porter to join our team and ensure our guests have a safe and comfortable stay during the night. As a Night Porter, you will work with a small, dedicated night team to provide seamless service and support.

Your day to day

As a Night Porter, your shift will start at 11:00 pm and finish at 7:30 am.

Every day is different, but you will mostly be:

• Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes
• Assisting guests with luggage, organising transportation,valet parking and fulfilling a variety of other needs the guests may have
• Staying one step of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
• Completing other ad-hoc duties as requested to assist the front office team in fulfilling guest needs

What we need from you:

• An unrestricted driver's licence (manual required)
• Ability to lift, pull and push large objects up to 23kg
• Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
• Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during night shifts.
• Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills
