InterContinental Hotels Group in Adelaide seeks a Club Lounge Attendant to welcome guests with personalised attention and seamless service in our exclusive lounge for Club guests.

You will deliver luxury experiences and high‑level food & beverage service, while anticipating guests' needs and providing tailored recommendations. The role requires strong English, RSA certification, and flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English; additional languages encouraged but not required.
• RSA certificate required.
• Ability to work under pressure and think quickly on your feet.
• Strong problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities.
• Flexible with night, weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver elevated luxury experiences and guests receive an exclusive personalised experience.
• Provide world-class food & beverage service in line with InterContinental standards, from buffet breakfast to evening drinks and canape service.
• Acknowledge our most exclusive guests, IHG One Rewards members, InterContinental Ambassadors and returning guests.
• Anticipate guests' needs and offer tailored recommendations.
• Be our guests' trusted contact – assist with issues from bills to restaurant recommendations.
• Stay informed about events and activities on the day's schedule.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Desk and other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

To get our guests' memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we're looking for a Club Lounge Attendant who can make transactions feel seamless, offer exceptional local insights, and anticipate every request to ensure every guest feels valued and receives personalised attention to feel right at home.

Accessed exclusively by our Club guests, our lounge provides an intimate and elevated space, and luxury food & beverage offering. The lounge team works closely with our Front Office department to ensure our guests have a memorable stay each and every time.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Deliver elevated luxury experiences and guests receive an exclusive personalised experience.
• Providing a world class food & beverage service in line with InterContinental standards; from a buffet breakfast to evening drinks and canape service
• Acknowledging our most exclusive guests, IHG One Rewards members InterContinental Ambassadors and returning guests
• Staying one step of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
• Being our guests’ trusted contact – helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations
• Always know what events and activities are on the days schedule
• Collaborate with other departments (Housekeeping, Front Desk, etc.) to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

What We need from you:

• Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk to.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure; thinking quickly on your feet and solving problems promptly.
• Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories.
• Fluency in English - extra language skills would be great, but not essential.
• Flexibility- night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
• Current and Valid RSA certificate
