Job summary

Mantra on Salt Beach in Kingscliff, part of the Accor portfolio, is seeking a Night Manager to oversee 11pm–7am operations with a focus on guest inquiries, safety and nightly property controls. The role blends reception duties, night audit, and preparing for daytime teams.

The successful candidate will bring prior Night Audit or Accounts experience, a customer‑centric approach and the ability to work independently, supported by Accor’s ALL loyalty program and career development resources.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Night Audit and/or Accounts is highly valued, as this role can serve as a stepping-stone to various opportunities in operations or finance
• A positive demeanour and capable of working independently

Mantra on Salt Beach is located in Kingscliff just south of the Gold Coast / Northern New South Wales border. This property offers comfortable hotel, one and two bedroom spa suites with full service kitchens and private balconies to enjoy the serenity of surrounding bushland and ocean views. With a generous lagoon style pool, tennis courts, games room, large meetings and events spaces and the choice of two food and beverage offerings, Surge Bar & Restaurant and Seasons Restaurant it is a location and property that attracts a wide range of traveller. During your down time, head 20 minutes north to the Gold Coast or a quick drive south will see you in Byron Bay!

Purpose

As the Night Manager, you will ensure the property runs smoothly from 11pm to 7am. During these night time hours when most guests are asleep, you serve as the reliable point of contact, addressing late-night guest inquiries, maintaining security, and managing minor maintenance matters, all to uphold the hotel's exceptional reputation.
