Job summary

Accor's Novotel Sydney International Airport is hiring a Food & Beverage team member on a part-time or casual basis. You will explain the menu, welcome guests, and use the POS system. Liaise with the Kitchen on requests and ensure hygiene and safety standards.

Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is required. RSA is essential. Join a large global hotel group with staff benefits and a diverse, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Explain the menu to guests, including those with dietary needs, and assist with beverage recommendations.
• Welcome and seat guests according to hotel standards.
• Use POS system to place orders.
• Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals.
• Follow all hygienic processes to ensure safety for guests & staff.
• Maintain hygiene standards for food handling and presentation.
• Promote a safe workplace by recognizing hazards and WHS practices.

The Role

• Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages;
• Welcome and seat guests according to hotelstandards;

• Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals;
• Follow all hygienic processes to ensure safety for all guests & staff;
• Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation;
