Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a dedicated Carer to provide high-quality care and support to residents in our facility. You will assist with daily tasks, offer emotional support and companionship, and help ensure residents’ comfort and dignity in a nurturing environment.

The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care or Equivalent, with at least two years’ experience. Availability for full-time night shifts is essential, along with an NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Eligibility under Australian Qualifications Framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including showering, dressing, grooming and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility and physical assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress and preferences, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
