Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Casual Carer to provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents in a supportive, dignified environment. You will assist with daily tasks, offer emotional support, and help residents maintain independence while working closely with the care team.

Qualified candidates will have a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent and a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check. Flexible availability including mornings, afternoons or nights is preferred, with above-award pay and

Qualifications

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• An NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID is required.
• All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including showering, dressing, grooming and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility and physical tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document residents' progress and preferences.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care.
