Job summary

Novotel Devonport is seeking a Night Auditor to join on a full-time or part-time basis, delivering a warm welcome and accurate night audits. You will manage overnight operations, ensure guest safety, and handover to the morning team while maintaining a high standard of service.

This role requires night hours (11:00 pm–7:00 am), strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a solid grasp of finance practices. An RSA certificate and valid Tasmanian driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a night owl who enjoys working with a team.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• A hands-on team player with a can-do attitude.
• Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily.
• Willingness to take ownership and have the initiative to carry out different tasks as required.
• A good understanding of finance and accounting practices.
• The ability to coordinate multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming late arrival guests and assisting early departures.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel’s overnight operation, maintaining guest satisfaction and safety.
