Job summary

WIN Television is seeking an ENG Camera Operator/Editor to shoot and edit high quality stories for news in a regional newsroom. You will report to the State News Director and cover a range of topics, including environment, sport and politics, from our Traralgon office.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, based in Traralgon, with opportunities to contribute ideas and work as part of a positive team environment. A valid driver’s licence is essential.

Qualifications

Demonstrated skills with both camera operation and editing.
Experience shooting interviews, sport and community activities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to contribute ideas and work well in a team.
Willingness to learn new systems and show initiative.
Creative with a news-minded perspective.
Unrestricted drivers licence essential.

Responsibilities

Shoot and edit high quality stories for news and updates.
Cover interviews, sport and community events and meet deadlines.
Work in a regional newsroom, Monday to Friday, based in Traralgon.
